She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ballard and Mary Ballard (Daley); and her brothers, Ray and Doug. She is survived by: her siblings, Joe (Therese) of Venice, FL, Kevin of Vancouver, BC, Kris (Raymonde) of Yellowknife, NT and Pat Engalls of Saint John; her son Kory of Viera, FL; and her grandsons, Duncan and Matthew. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Doreen may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Heart Association or Hestia House.
