She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Penny and Pauline Penny (Kernick); and her sister Mary Jenkins (Louis). She is survived by: her husband Dr. Brian Garland; and her siblings, Sandra Clarke (Gerry), Lorne (Becky) and Ronald Penny (Theresa). She is also survived by 3 daughters.
