He was predeceased by: his brother Robert; and his parents, Hazel Finley and Gerald Finley. He is survived by: his wife Ruth (Finley); his siblings, Carol Whitney (Vern), Janice Clements (Robert), William (Marion), Richard (Pam) and Jamie (Peggy); his son Bradley (Andrea); and his grandchild Ayla of Jude.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Colchester Hospice Society, I.W.K. Children's Hospital are welcomed.
