He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Sandra (Harling); his children, Donny and Darlene Caines; his stepchildren, Sarah Barber and Ally Zelward (Brandon); his grandson Jace Zelward; his brother Charlie Harling; his sister-in-law Debbie Rathwell; his wife Sandra; his birth mother Lena Goodine; his adoptive parents, Eliza Caines and William Caines; and his mother-in-law Ann Harling.
