He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Savoie and Lina Savoie; and his brother Alphé. He is survived by: his daughters, Marie-Josée Gionet (Shawn) of Saint John, Nancy Savoie (Sean Currie) of Saint John and Angele Savoie (late Jeff) of Saint John; the mother of his children Yvette Le Bouthillier; his grandchildren, Curtis (Ann-Marie), Megan, Nathaniel, Delaney, Deanna, Chloe, Cameron, Mitchell and Dakota; his great grandchildren, Darius, Jeremiah and Jurney; and his siblings, Normand Savoie (Dale Thibodeau), Donald Savoie (Carmillia Doiron), Emma Savoie (Remi), Mathilda Mallet (late Raymond), Aurilda Smith (Donald), Suzanne Richard (George) and Claudia LeClair (Gilles). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
