He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Danells and Martha Danells (Long); his wife Mary; and his siblings, Paul, Fred Danells, Lou Jones, Ann King and Ruby Cardella.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Jr. "Chuck" Danells (Angela) of Saint John, Stanley Danells (Rosalie) of Hampton, George Danells of Hampton and Donna Palladini (Michael) of Saint John; his grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph, Kevin and Lily; and his siblings, Calvin Danells (Marilyn) of Dartmouth, Bill Danells (Judy) of Dartmouth, Dawn Algrem (Edward) of Thunder Bay and Lynn Tobias (Donald) of Nauwigewauk. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
