He was predeceased by: his parents, Tjitze Jongsma and Cornelia Jongsma of Jong; his sister Irma; his niece Connie; and his nephew Ronald of Holland.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald (Mary), Carolyn (Louis), Susan (Gene) and Maureen (Mike); the mother of his children Louise; his grandchildren, Amy, Caroline, Eric, Luke, Stephane, Sam, Riley and Ben; his nephew Rob (Anja); and his caregiver Drs.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (101 Coburg St, Saint John, NB E2L3J8).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Loch Lomond Village Recreation Department, the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation, or the charity of the donor's choice.
