He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Waddell and Clyde Waddell; his siblings, Eldon, Reginald, Charles, Aubrey, Donald, Arlene and Lois; and his parent-in-law Donnie.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Waddell; his daughters, Kimberley Waddell (Barb), Brenda Waddell (Maurice) and Stacie Brideau (Brian); his stepchildren, Jeannie Lutz and Scott Saunders; his grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel, Chantal, André, Ben and Brianne; his great grandchildren, Hailey-Jo, Connor, Zack, Aiden, Ashtyn and Halston; his parents-in-law, Debbie, Karen, Joey, Suzanne, Hank and Albert; and his close friend Lily May.
