He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Cannon and Mabel Cannon; his son Allan; and his siblings, Benn and Eleanor.
He is survived by: his wife Diana; his son Derek (Paula); his grandsons, Collin and Jacob; his great grandchild Amellia; and his siblings, Joanne (Larry) and Robert Vincent (Sharon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
