He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Frances (Tilton) and Arthur Hazen Ward of Saint John; his aunts, Catharine Tilton (Cassie) and Josephine Knowles (Jodie); his cousin Meredith Westlake (Knowles); and his brother-in-law Paul Sayre.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughter Lindsay (Paul); his brothers, Philip Ward and Richard Ward; his grandchildren, Nikala and Gabriel; his cousin Stephen Knowles; his brothers-in-law, Geoff and Ted; his nieces, Tammy, Christie, Kimberley, Jeanne, Catherine and Janet; his great-niece Emily; and his nephews, Geoffrey and James.
