He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Armstrong (Mercer) and Joseph Armstrong; and his siblings, Reggie, Bennett, Walter, Mary and Dora.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Armstrong, Paula (Patton) and Scott Armstrong; and his sisters-in-law, Myra Armstrong and Roberta Armstrong (Bunny). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: 11 great-grandchildren.
