He was predeceased by: his parent Ruth Brown (Lee); and his brother Michael Brown. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Murray–Brown; his son John David; his daughter-in-law Samantha Brown; his granddaughter Lilly Brown; his mother-in-law Vivian Murray; his siblings-in-law, John Murray (Marcus Watson) and Betty Walsh Brown; his nephew Jason Brown; his cousins, Jamie McOuat and Bobby Orr (Connie); and also Steven.
