She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Higgins and Olga Higgins (Thurber). She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Higgins of Saint John, Rebecca Comeau (Bennett) of Saint John and Leah Henry of Saint John; her siblings, Faye McKendrick of Saint John and Ken Higgins (Donna) of Quispamsis; her grandson Tyler Higgins; her nieces and nephews, Sarah McKendrick, Aaron McKendrick, Jonathan, Jacquelyn and Julia Higgins; and her close friend Barb Peck (late Greg).
