She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Folkins and Burdella Folkins (McFarlane); her husband Walter Herrington; and her brothers, Eldred, Ronald Folkins and Everett McFarlane.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Holland (Douglas) of Rothesay, Dianne Courtney of Gagetown, Sheila Cordeau of Saint John and Barry Herrington (Crystal) of Quispamsis; her sister Rowena Hayes (Austin) of Alberta; her son-in-law Douglas Courtney; and her pet Leo. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews.
