She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Smith and James Smith; her son Wayne Cyr; her siblings, Fred, Ernest, Albert Smith and Janie Beckingham; and her siblings-in-law, Valerie Cyr, Gladys Rowe, Esther Cyr, James, Leonard, Peter Cyr and Gordon Rowe.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Pollock (Wayne) and Tom Cyr (Deb); her daughter-in-law Debbie Cyr; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Pollock (Vanessa), Jennifer Elliott (Troy), Lisa DeBow (Jeff), Angela Cyr (Cecil), Gregory Cyr (Candace), Alyssa Cyr and Jason Cyr; her great grandchildren, Emma, Drew, Marcus, Megan, Jenna, Logan, Dylan, Liam, Sophie, Greer and Kayla; and her husband Leo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brenan's Paradise Row Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB E2K3H6). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel (111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB E2K3H6). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (327 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G2).
