She was predeceased by: her parents, George Melanson and Mary Melanson (Laird); her brothers, John "Jackie", George and Paul; and her granddaughter Karla.

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda, Linda, Vickie and Kerry (Jimmy). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren along with several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
