He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Deas and Ethel Deas (Roper); his wife Ann Roberts; his son Jamie Colpitts; and his brother-in-law Bruce Homer.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Chiasson, Tina Chappel, John Deas and Robert Deas; his siblings, Alice Homer, George Deas (Margaret), Ruth Stuart (Don), Robert Deas (Napas) and Nancy-Lea Legge (Bruce); and his grandchildren, Patricia, Kevin, Matthew, Tara, Jessica, Jacob, Dylan, Deanna, John Jr., Michael, Jamie, Cody and Kyla. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
