He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah. He is survived by: his children, Wanda (Ian Hunter), Angela (George Major), Ivan (Cathy Walsh-Peters) and Kevin; his grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Devynn, Andrew, Sarah and Audrey; and his great grandchildren, Cairo and Ever.

Since he was a long-time volunteer at the food bank in Saint John, donations in Ben's name can be made to your local food bank.
