She is survived by: her siblings, John, Eugene, Wilfred and Sharon (Andrew Podporski).
Upon completing a Commercial course and a Home Economics course in Woodstock, NB and working two years as a stenographer, she entered the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception on September 8, 1955.
