He was predeceased by: his close friend Barbara Doiron. He is survived by: his children, Amanda (Craig), Sarah (Jon), Matthew (Jeff) and Marc (Kyla); the mother of his children Linda Nowlan; his parents, Guy and Joan (Bartlett); and his brothers, Michael (Huan), Donald (Nancy), Guy (Jocelyn), Paul (Kim) and Jean Pierre (Shin). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, Donations in memory of Alex may be made to Bobby's Hospice.
