He was predeceased by: his parent Noël Jaillet. He is survived by: his mother Lucina Jaillet (Bernard) of Bouctouche; his wife Simonne Jaillet (Bastarache); his daughter Melissa Jaillet Cormier (Marcel) of Saint-Antoine; his grandchildren, Cédric and Audrée; his siblings, Carmen Bourque (Paul-Emile) of Dieppe, Ysola Holmden (Chuck), Monique Jaillet of Moncton, Jackie Grattan of Saint-Edouard, Bermond (Linda), Paul-Emile (Dorice), Serge (Micheline) of Saint-Edouard and Eloi (Linda) of Dieppe; his parents-in-law, André and Bernice Bastarache; and his siblings-in-law, Charles (late Ginette) and Linda Bastarache of Bouctouche. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

In Jean-Claude's memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of Flowers.
