He was predeceased by: his parents, Fidèle Chevarie and Marie-Jeanne Chevarie (Thibodeau); and his siblings, Viola, Gerard, Lionel, Camille, Leo-Paul and Roger.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Chevarie (Leger); his children, Lise Richard (Gerald) of Saint-Ignace and Rheal Chevarie (Sonia) of Saint-Louis; his grandchildren, Karina, Gaetan, Kristelle and Mylene; his great grandchildren, Skyelar, Sophia, Brayden and Kaisyn; his siblings, Bella Arsenault (Emerie) of Dieppe, Jeanne Doucet (Louis) of Dieppe, Edna Thibodeau (late Donat) of Dieppe, Dorice Cormier (Léo) of Bouctouche and Antoine Chevarie (Edna) of Saint-Charles; and his sisters-in-law, Geneva of Saint-Charles, Regina of Shediac and Maria-Esther of Richibucto. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
