He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Bastarache and Dorilla Bastarache (Saulnier); his son Roger; and his siblings, Ronnie, Dorine Goguen, Bernice LeBlanc and Aurella Griffen.
He is survived by: his wife Angelina "Angie" Bastarache (Hebert); his daughters, Viola Collette (Maurice), Anita Gauvin (Paul), Gina Donelle (Bert) and Lisa Mullin (Michael); his niece Claudia Steeves; his siblings, Viola Cormier (Raymond), Muriel Melanson and Ovide Bastarache (Alice); and his sister-in-law Pauline Bastarache. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
