He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Theriault and Geralda Theriault (Lavoie); and his siblings, Annette Theriault, Sylvia Gagnon (late Mario), Noel Theriault and Lee Theriault.

He is survived by: his wife Polly Theriault (Patenaude); his children, Brigitte, Jerry Jr. (John) and Illinois; his stepson Jason Patenaude of Casco; his grandchildren, J. R., Bayleigh, Dominic, Broady, Elizabeth and Ryan; his great grandchild Kayden; and his siblings, Cecile Michaud (Bertin) of Drummond, Denis Theriault (Linda) of Chicago, Illinois, Roger Theriault (Suzanne) of Drummond, Ginette Tremblay (Howard) of Drummond, Marguerite Theriault (Mario) of Petit-Rocher, Eric Theriault of Grand Falls, Diane Cote (Gary) of New Denmark and Lisa Desrosiers (Real) of Saint-Andre. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
