He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Duplessis and Yvonne Duplessis (Duplessis); and his siblings, Gilbert, Gérald, Ronald, Aline Michaud and Rita Ringuette.
He is survived by: his children, Jacques (late Nicole), Jacqueline Lavoie (Ben) of Saint-Andre, Gaëtan (Jennifer Scott) of Tillsonburg, Ginette Marquis (Jean-Jules Violette) of St-Leonard-Parent, Donald (Loretta Cyr) of St-Leonard-Parent and Jean-Pierre (Linda Bijeau) of Saint-Leonard; and his siblings, Ernest Cyr (Causette) of Sept-Iles, Réal (Bernadette), Roland (Victorine) of Siegas, Robert (Betsy) of Holland and Colette Ayotte (Fred) of Van Buren. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren.
