He was predeceased by: his father Louis Herring. He is survived by: his mother Arlene Herring; his siblings, Linda Herring, Debi Hanley, Mark Herring (Jennifer) and Marty Herring (Darla); his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Holmes, Kayla Hanley (Devon), Emily Doucet (Luc), Shamus Atkinson (Melanie), Cameron Holmes (Emily), Ryan Herring, Aidan Herring and Caleb Herring; and his close friends, Angela Olsen, Tammy Wall (Peter), Charla Fife (Rob) and Gena Walton (Kevin). He is also survived by several grand-nieces and grand-nephews and many friends.
If so desired, donations in memory of Shane may be made to the Cape Tormentine Legion or to a local children's charity.
