He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Sampson; his parents, Viva Fletcher (Terry) and Clifford Fletcher; and his siblings, Barb Estabrooks (George), Carolyn Bowser and Johnny Fletcher.

He is survived by: his children, David (Kelly) and Cindy; his former wife Barb MacLeod; his grandsons, Nicholas Fletcher and Mathias Bocchini; his brother Kenny (Colleen); his sister-in-law Linda Fletcher; and his stepson Brandon Bocchini (Sherri).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ron may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Friends of the Moncton Hospital.
