He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Trites and Helen Trites (Dryden); and his sisters, Jean (Moody) and Nora (Murray). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Doreen Trites (Furlong); his children, Dr. Todd (Shirin Nooravi) of NewPort Beach, CA, Dr. Lary (Kathleen Brown), Bonnie (Stephen Beal) of Waterloo, ON and Dr. Brian (Amy Gorham); his grandchildren, Robie, Alex, Josh, Julielle, Hannah, Alexa, Emily, Aiden, Nicole, Ally and Cody; his great grandchild River; and his sister Harriet Smith. He is also survived by Papa Cool' loved his grandchildren and helped out his four children.
