He was predeceased by: his parents, Olive Sears and Cedric Sears; his siblings, Yuvonne Sears, Lillian Neil, Thomas Sears and Vaughn Kaye; and his common-law partner Ruth Estabrooks.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Gilroy (Ken), Gary Sears and Dale Sears (Tammy); his stepdaughter Linda Beal; his grandchildren, Corey, Bruce, Ryan, Roger, Justin, Courtnay and Robert; his great grandchildren, Schuyler, Griffin, Harper, Nicole, Shawn, Nova-Rayne and Dakota; and his siblings, Margaret Hicks (Vincent), Madonna Wells (Lewis), Dollie Fillmore, Marlene Hicks, Carolyn LeBlanc, Deborah Arsenault, Gertrude Wheaton, Garnet Sears (Eleanor), Bernard Sears (Nancy), Frank Sears (Vallery) and Weldon Hicks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Perry may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one's choice.
