He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Elliot Rodger and Isabel Otley Rodger. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Anne Adelia Varner; his daughters, Adelia Sarah Rodger and Laura Nell Rodger; his stepson Dylan Varner-Hartley (Katie); his stepgrandchild Finley; and his brothers, Norman Wilson Rodger MD (Judith) and David Elliot Rodger (Meredith). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
