He was predeceased by: his sister Connie; and his grandparents, James, Connie McCarthy (Roberts), Adam and Lillian Archibald (Tapsell).

He is survived by: his parents, Gail Archibald (McCarthy) and George Archibald; his siblings, Chris Archibald, Joey Archibald (Jacqueline) and Kathy Steele (Bob); and his nephew Nicholas Elliott (Keltie). He is also survived by several nephews, nieces and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one's choice.
