She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Charles Smith and Dorothy Violet (Tower); her husband Errol George Day; her siblings, Rachel Johnson and Jeffrey Smith; her niece Sabrina Patterson; her nephew William Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Shelley, Janice Smith and Thomas Ward.

She is survived by: her children, Belinda Day (Jeff) of Hamilton, Arlie Day of Sackville, N. B. and Crystal McLaughlin (Mark) of St. Stephen, N. B.; her siblings, Leslie Jr. 'Junior Smith, Betty Ward, Freddie Smith (Donna), Carolyn Patterson (Dale), Elaine Morice, Steven 'Stevie' Smith (Wanda), Ruby Beal (Donnie), William 'Billy Smith, Gladys 'Glady' Smith (Donald), Myrtle Bryden and Charlotte Leblanc (Gary); her grandchildren, Kevin, Dylan Eggleton, Chad, Ashna, Taneesha, Kendrick McLaughlin, Nick Day and Colby Adams; and her great grandchildren, Conway Sode, Adalynn McLaughlin and Wyatt Eggleton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
