Junior Phinney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Junior Phinney (Sackville, New Brunswick), born in Midgic, New Brunswick. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Hicks and Richard Phinney; his children, Donna Johnson and Richard Phinney Jr.; his granddaughter Rhonda Lannigan; his siblings, Millicent Barnes, Alvin Phinney and Alden Phinney; the mother of his children Kathleen (Wood); and his close friend Barbara Atkinson.

He is survived by: his significant other Edna Brewster; and his children, Debbie Colwell (Gary), Delores Atkinson (Robert), Allen Phinney, Bonnie Brownell (John) and Kathy Atkinson (David). He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren; his 36 great-grandchildren, as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family viewing will take place and a graveside service will take place in the spring in the Midgic Cemetery, with details to be announced.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Junior may do so to the Midgic Baptist Church, Midgic Cemetery or to the charity of one's choice.
