He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Nicholson and Leah Nicholson (Beaman); his wife Helen Ward (Beal); his stepdaughter Kimberly Ward; and his siblings, Robert "Bobby", Delmar, Kenny and Marilyn.

He is survived by: his children, Kasey (Marcel), AB of Linda Nicholson, BC, Danny Parsons and Sackville; his stepdaughter Karen Ward; his sister Evelyn (Eric); and his close friends, Bonnie and Frenchie Blanchard. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews; his brothers.
