She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cleveland Hicks of Midgic, NB and Katherine Hammond (Greene) of Amherst, NS.; her husband Frederick Delaney; and her siblings, Don (Sackville), Elmore of North Bay, ON, Alex (Sackville), Thayer of Shelburne, NS, Adrian (Sackville), Elaine (Sackville), Marguerite and Mary.

She is survived by: her sons, David (Susan) of Riverview and Norman (Angie) of Moncton; her grandchildren, Krista (Adam) of Riverview, Justin (Melanie) of Dieppe and Lisa (Washington) of Seattle; and her great grandchildren, Giada, Emilia, Julia and Alex. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home (70 Bridge St, Sackville, NB E4L 3N9).
