He was predeceased by: his parent Roland Faulkner; his spouse Elizabeth "Betty" Faulkner (Gilbert); his brother Ron Faulkner; and his siblings-in-law, Everett Gilbert, Melvin Gilbert and Jan Gilbert.

He is survived by: his parent Gladys Faulkner (McCosh); his daughter Mary-Jo Marsden (David); his grandchildren, Nicholas and Sarah; his son Jim Faulkner (Kelly); his grandchildren, Shawn (Beth), Craig (Sarah), Ryan (Claire), Morgan (Abdel), Lee Faulkner (Andrea), Laura and Eric; and his sisters-in-law, Laura Gilbert of Ajax and Vera Faulkner of Amherst, NS.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gordie may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or to the charity of one's choice.
