He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Brae Turner and Pearl Turner (Allen); his wife Minnie; his siblings, Harold, Clarence, Archie, Dorothy and Pearlina; and his brother-in-law David Bacon (late Louise).

He is survived by: his son Roger Turner (Patty); his grandson Domanic; and his brother David Turner (Ruth). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
