She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gallant and Leonie Gallant (Vautour); her husband Alfred; her sons, Louis and Paul; her grandson Scott; and her siblings, Euclide, Ferdinand, Stella, Jeannita, Florine, Simone and Walter.

She is survived by: her children, Alfreda McLean, Amherst, Laurie Melanson (Susan), Rose Webb (Norman), Jean Melanson (Maryann Wells), Peter (Melanie) and Elizabeth Rideout; and her brother Louis (Delores). She is also survived by extended family and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home (70 Bridge St, Sackville, NB E4L3N9).
