She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Florence Alder (Noseworthy) and Frank Charles Percy Alder; her brother Rod (Joan Alder); and her brother-in-law Don Schon of British Columbia. She is survived by: her husband Eddie Chase; her children, Shelley and Bryon Chase; her grandchildren, Emma, Olivia, Zoe and Rowan; her sister Elaine Schon (Nanaimo); and her cousins, Mary Bowman (Lantzville) and Myrna Atwood (California). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and life-time friends.
If so desired, donations in memory of Carolyn may be made to her alumni, Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick.
