He was predeceased by: his parents, Knapp and Lottie; and his brother Maurice. He is survived by: his wife Jean (McLeod); his daughter Natalie Crossman (Fred); his grandchildren, Kathryn (Long) and Greg (Stacey); and his siblings, Manuel (Margie), Sandra, Crandell, Duane (Sally), Dana (Marilyn), Leland (Donna) and Kevin (Janice). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
