She was predeceased by: her parents, Mansel Copp and Beatrice Copp (Mills); her son Craig Sears; and her siblings, Helen, Joy, Hazen and Robert.
She is survived by: her husband Chalmers Sears; her son Alan Sears (Pat); her grandsons, Cory (Ashley) and Cole (Becca); and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Damen, Parker, Conor and Peyton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
If so desired, donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Craig Sears Memorial Bursary at Mount Allison University or to the charity of one's choice.
