He was predeceased by: his parents, Astrid Johannsson and Sven Blomkvist; and his brother Sven-Åke Blomkvist of Sweden. He is survived by: his wife Georgina Blomquist (Gina) of Sackville; his son Karl Blomquist (Tracey); his stepchildren, Karen Piercey (Matthew) and Andy Crosby (Rachel); his grandsons, Jordan, Shane and Devon Blomquist; his stepgrandchildren, Cameron, Reid, Isla Piercey, Èvie and Noélie Ariey-Crosby; and his brother Hans-Egon Larsson of Sweden.
