With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Messer of Rothesay, New Brunswick, born in Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Messer and Hazel Messer (Clark); and his siblings, Victor, Douglas Messer and Vivian Messer.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Elizabeth Messer (Beckett); his sons, Walter Leigh Messer of Rothesay, NB and Andrew Cade Messer (Gail) of Clearwater, FL; his siblings, Doris Messer, Gordon (Sandra) and Robert Messer (Sandi); his sisters-in-law, Marion Aulbrook, Gwen MacNaught, Lois Boldon, Betty Messer and Gwen Messer; his grandchildren, Sarah Lilly (Andy), Jenna (Chris), Alexa (Alex), Keith, Dennis (Sara) and Holly; his stepgranddaughter Brittni (Dan); and his great grandchild Mika Lilly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In memory of Walter may be made to Extra Mural or charity of donor's choice.
