It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Hannington MacQuarrie of Rothesay, New Brunswick, born in Scotch Settlement, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry MacQuarrie and Katherine MacQuarrie (Hannington); and his siblings, John, Ivan, Earl, Beulah, Mildred, Gladys, Eileen, Kay and Thelma.
He is survived by: his son Besides; his grandsons, John MacQuarrie of Rothesay and Andrew MacQuarrie of Toronto; his nephew Matthew MacQuarrie-Cottle; his niece Megan MacQuarrie; and his pet Smokey.
