He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Wright and Margaret Wright (Irvine); his brother Billy; his niece Jill Greene; and his brother-in-law Burton McKnight.
He is survived by: his wife Heather Wright (Carson); his children, Deborah Chaffey of St. George and John Wright of Rothesay; his sister Esther McKnight of Alburn, NS; his grandchildren, Crystal Wright, Timothy Chaffey (Kasey), Matthew Chaffey and Michael Chaffey (Jennifer); his great grandchild Theo; his nephew Jeff McKnight (Ellen); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah, Brooke McKnight, Ashton and Fallon Greene. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
