He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Gordon and Beryl Spencer; and his sister Sue. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Spencer; his daughters, Katie Bell (Spencer), Jessica Spencer (Mike McCrory) and Sarah Spencer (Andrew King); and his sisters, Margot Doyle, Vicki Porter and Debbie Ritchie.
