We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2024, at the age of 96, Berton Wesley Cosman of Rothesay, New Brunswick, born in Saint John, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wesley Cosman and May Ella Clark; his wife Shirley; and his grandson Jonathan Cosman. He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Cosman and Ruth Askeland; his son-in-law David McCormack; his children, Dawn McCormack-Craig (Robert) of Halifax, Peggy Cosman (Stewart) of Kingston Peninsula and Michael Cosman (Lauren) of Rothesay; his brother Donald Cosman of Ottawa; his sister-in-law Nancy Brittain of Rothesay; his grandchildren, Scott McCormack (Sarah) of LaHave, NS, Michael McCormack (Yolanda), Robert McCormack of Halifax, NS, Emily Whitfield, Katherine May (Sheldon) of Quadra Island, BC, Meaghan Balzer of Moncton, NB and Justin Cosman (Jessica Portinari) of Halifax, NS; and his great grandchildren, Ruby McCormack, Jari Keefer, Deo Balzer, Iyanu Balzer-Calixte, Quinn May and Jade May. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
