He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence and Clara; his wife Virginia Hossack; and his children, Elizabeth and Andrew.
He is survived by: his sons, Peter (Mary) and Scott (Simone); his grandchildren, Skene, Madeleine, Reid, Robyn, Joey and Alexandra; his great grandchildren, Prescott and Paxton; and his sister Marnie Peterson (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
