Mélina Pitre Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mélina Pitre of Rogersville, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 5, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Doucet and Genviève Haché Doucet; her former husband Leo Goguen; her son Tony; and her siblings, Marcel, Léo, Raymond, Eric, André, Benoit, Marie, Rita and Jeanita.

She is survived by: her husband Leonard Pitre; her stepchildren, Jane, Louis, Eloie of Ontario, Terry (Johanna) of Rogersville, Paulette (late Albert) of Rogersville, Lillianne (Gilles) of Rogersville, Raymond (Lilian) of Rogersville and Patsy (Daniel) of Rogersville; and her sister Sophie (Maxime) of Minto. She is also survived by grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends.

Due to the present pandemic circumstances, a gathering will be held by invitation only at the funeral home 'La Colombe' of Rogersville, on Friday October 9th, between 2pm and 4pm.

As expressions of sympathy, a donation to the Palliative care project of the Foyer Assomption of Rogersville, would be greatly appreciated.
