He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall DeMerchant and Cindy Hatheway; his siblings, David DeMerchant and Wendy Janes; and his niece Sherry DeMerchant.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Pearl Black (Shane Bartlett) and Marshall Hatheway (Serena); his granddaughters, Courtney, Shianne and Mya; and his siblings, Lloyd DeMerchant (Mori), Murray Thompson (Barb) and Lois Deagle (Jerry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
